Model 1000 Food Grade Transfer Pumps - November 04th 2011
Riggs Autopack Ltd manufacture high quality transfer pumps for the food production industry; namely our Model 1000 range. These food grade transfer pumps eradicate the need for manual loading of product holding vessels by using tubs or buckets, and provide continuous food production.
With almost 40 years design and build experience, we supply this range of transfer pump equipment to food producers of varied type and size with clients typically ranging from start-up companies and small cottage industries, through to large multi-national and international factories.
Manufactured using high quality 316 stainless steel on all product contact parts, these Model 1000 machines provide damage free transfer of hot or cold liquid, semi-liquid and suspended solid products, even viscous goods such as pate and mashed potato for example, and fragile goods such as fruit preserves, pie filling's and ready meal ingredients.
They efficiently pump products direct from tote bins, pallecons, mixing vessels or cooking kettles, and transfer into low or high level hoppers / holding tanks. They are available as a vertical or horizontally mounted, fixed or mobile frame, low or high level option, and supplied with the relevant length and width of inlet / outlet pipework to suit.
There is a variety of piston pump sizes available dependant upon required production levels; the standard Model 4.0 provides a pump rate of up to 26 litres per minute, and the larger "maxi" Model 5.125 and Model 6.5 provides a pump rate of up to 50 litres per minute.
With easy set up and operation, the Model 1000 transfer pumps are robust, reliable, hygienic and quick to clean, easy to use and simple to maintain. They are supplied with an after sales support package including full staff training and available for purchase, short or long term hire.
