What type of food production equipment can you supply?
Riggs Autopack manufacture and supply single or multi-head depositors & filling machines, transfer pumps, indexing conveyors, capping machines, rotary tables, slat band conveyors, decorating heads, depositing nozzles, lid press machines, pump units and pie crimping stations. We also design and manufacture fully automated filling production lines and provide a turnkey projects service.
What type of companies do you supply your equipment to?
Our machinery is designed for use within the food production industry. Our customers range from small artisan producers and start-up companies through to large multi-national food production plants.
Is there a difference between a depositor and a filling machine ?
No, essentially the machines are the same. Here at Riggs Autopack we use the term "depositing" for food products that are put on top of other items, such as depositing mashed potato on to meat for example. We use the term "filling" in the context of filling a jar with jam for example.
What type of depositors / filling machines do you manufacture ?
Riggs Autopack manufacture "volumetric piston pump" machines ie. a pre-set measured amount of product is drawn from the feed hopper into the piston pump which is then dispensed through a depositing nozzle into a container. Please see our Depositing & Filling Machines page for further details.
What type of food products can your machines handle ?
Our depositing and filling equipment provides damage free handling of "wet" based food products - liquids, semi-liquids, suspended solids, viscous or fragile goods. Please see our Suitable Food Product Sectors page for further details.
How are your depositors and filling machines powered ?
All our depositors and filling machines are powered pneumatically and therefore require compressed air to operate. This means they are suitable for food production areas and wash down applications.
Can I try before I buy ?

What type and size of containers can your machines deposit / fill into ?
We can deposit / fill food and liquid products into almost any type or size of container. These typically include glass or plastic jars, bottles, pots, tubs and buckets, ready meal and baking trays, foils, cartons, sachets, bags and doy packs.
Can your machines handle both hot and cold products ?
Yes. Due to the high quality material specification of the food grade seals incorporated within our machines, we can easily handle both hot and cold products.
Do you provide an after sales support service?
Yes. Riggs Autopack employs both an office based and field based after sales support team. We provide a comprehensive guarantee with each machine, staff training, planned maintenance and service schemes, technical support, rapid engineer call out and full parts supply from stock.
